Barcelona pilot kick off event: Urban Talks 2021

The Urban Talks 2021, together with the kick-off of the CENTRINNO Project in Barcelona, will be held based on an open debate about culture and creativity connected with the topics of the circular economy, challenges arising from gentrification processes, and valorization of industrial heritage.
The kick-off is happening during the Poblenou Open Day and Setmana d’Arquitectura de Barcelona.
The format of the event will follow an open debate with three roundtables.
AGENDA:
- 11:00 – Introduction of Urban Talks
- 11:15 – Introduction of H2020 CENTRINNO project and partners (Fab Lab Barcelona, InnovaFP, Poblenou Urban District)
- 11:30 – Talk #1: Closing the loop: The new productive, circular, and creative economy
- 12:45 – Talk #2: The recovery and valorization of industrial heritage
- 14:00 – Talk #3: The challenges of gentrification

The Urban Talks 2021 will take place on Saturday 15th of May at Fundación Palo Alto (Carrer dels Pellaires, 30, Barcelona), from 11am to pm. The event has been co-organized by Fab Lab Barcelona with Poblenou Urban District, Life In the Woods, and La Plataforma.
